ORIGIN / INTENT

Orbit Down is intentionally small. Its value comes from doing a narrow job clearly, remaining quiet when nothing needs attention, and making the current state legible at a glance.

The deeper project was the complete journey around that small surface: native design, real-device behaviour, signing, platform differences, store preparation, review, and the distinction between a build existing and a product being available.

THE QUESTION

What does it take to make a one-purpose utility feel complete rather than merely functional?

THE METHOD

Keep the interface restrained, then spend the saved complexity on reliability, platform fit, edge cases, release evidence, and a delivery path that can be repeated.

Field principles

Small products still deserve a complete release path.
Status should be understood before it is decorated.
Built, submitted, reviewed, and available are different states.
